We get to choose how long we stay in self-sabotage.
EEK ~ that seems harsh doesn’t it? But it is so true! The choices we make, the actions we take or don’t take keep us where we are or help us move into the direction of what we want?
Are you staying in self sabotage because of fear?
Ask yourself what excuses you are allowing yourself to use that are holding you back.
- I can’t be an expert because I don’t have a degree
- It’s not quite perfect yet so I can’t put it out there
- I’m not sure I’m good enough
- I don’t know how
- No one will support me~ My family doesn’t get it
These can all seem like valid reasons…but they are not. I call BS. It’s all excuses. I talk about excuses in my book Embodied Grace: A Woman’s Path to Empowerment on pages 51-54. These “Reasons” have to be identified so that you can up level and blow past them! You cannot play the victim if you really want to create change in your life.
You have to become fully responsible and fully committed to how you live your life in order to reach the life you want.
Take all of those “reasons” and excuses and see them for the lies that they are.
The time is now. No more playing small. What do you want out of life and how can you get there?
